WIHSC today publishes a Report on the ways in which horizon scanning for new medications in Wales might be improved.
Commissioned by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry and in partnership with Welsh Government, the study focused on how different nations undertake horizon scanning, through interviews and a workshop with key informants. The workshop brought together the quartet of stakeholders who are all interested in improving horizon scanning: representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, NHS Wales, Welsh Government and the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTCC). The study was led by Dr Mark Llewellyn.
